Red Drum Workshops are a 1 day event where you make your own medicine drum and are welcomed into the lineage of Red Drum Carrier as created by Nikiah Seeds.
During the day long workshop, you will be initiated into the sacred art of drum making, the lineage of Red Drum Carrier and work with the spirits of cedar and elk and the red thread of women gathered together.
All the drum kits come from Nikiah Seeds who works closely with First Nations people in Canada. These kits are treated with respect and ceremony from start to finish and hold the potency of this care.
These drums are wonderful for women's circles, birth work, holding ceremony, invigorating your creative process and for enhancing healing work.
The workshop fees include all your materials, a workshop manual and the day's ceremonies. At the end of the day you will leave with a drum and beater made from your own hands.
